Redhead Mascara Naturelle

I love the color of this mascara. My hair is almost complexly white all over, but I was red head when I was younger, so this shade is perfect for me. I’ve been ordering it for several years. First time I ordered it was great. Last few times it’s dried up very quickly in the tube & gets flaky before I’ve even used it halfway. The only reason I keep ordering it is because I haven’t found another mascara with same shade. So basically it’s better than nothing. IF I could get a tube that wasn’t dried out I’d give this 5* stars & be recommending it to EVERYONE!

I Have Venetian Blond hair so its more of a deep gold with reddish and orange hues...in terms of color match I believe the shade "Ginger Cocoa" is closest to my actual hair color, however, My eye lashes and eyebrows are light enough that I usually have to darken them for them to appear. I chose to purchase the shade "Ginger Red" so the shade would be deeper than my hair. CONS: due to the overwhelming golden hue in my hair, the amount of red is sort of overpowering on my lashes making them mismatched with my hair. When added to my lashes by itself it doesn't appear to very strongly and doesn't add much length. PROS: When I add a layer of white mascara or primer to my lashes it pretty much fixes all the issues. The color comes out very visible and clashes less (I think because its not trying to cover the golden of my lashes, only the white of the base layer). The base layer adds a lot of body and length (so buy one that works for you) and the REDHEAD MASCARA covers the white entirely with two layers or so looking very full and beautiful. It can give the appearance of a small set of false lashes in a beautiful color. Finally this mascara is surprisingly waterproof and does not clump together even after a few layers of application. Whether I wear the base white layer or not when I wash my face after a day of wear the REDHEAD MASCARA does not run. it takes actually rubbings it off which, again, I found a really pleasant surprise. OVERALL: If I could rewind and order again I might go for the Ginger Cocoa if only because many redheads (me included) are more gold or brown than they are red and the tones of red used in the darker shades are perhaps a bit powerful in the event that a golden/ brown customer wants a shade that's deeper that their hair to stick out abit more...given Ginger Cocoa, while a better color match is listed as the lightest shade. I do however still really love the product I got and after applying in a way that works for me the color is lovely, doesn't clump, is pretty water proof, very flattering and I am very happy with my purchase. The formula is super creamy and easy to apply as well. 4 STARS though really I'd like to give it a 4.5 if only because I do feel the color selection for golden/ brown dominant redheads (who still have lashes and eyebrows that are white, translucent, or disappear in the sun) is a bit limited. The colors will work for you even if you are golden but its not as natural a match.

My eye lashes and brows are naturally a grayer tone than my red hair but this mascara matches my natural color so well my friends couldn't tell I was wearing makeup!

Nice enough mascara, goes on smoothly, doesn't smudge; just wish I'd got a darker color.as this doesn't really do anything for my lashes .

This is the only mascara I've used for the past 5 years! I used to only use a brown BareMinerals mascara, but when it was discontinued (and they stopped making anything else that light), I wanted to find another mascara that wasn't so dark. I tried Redhead Revolution too, but I liked this mascara better because it looks more natural. It never irritates my eyes, it washes off fairly easily with warm water or makeup remover, it never clumps, and it separates my lashes and gives them color. It doesn't give much volume or length, but it's perfect for making invisible lashes look visible and natural! My hair is light auburn, and I like gingerbrown best. I like gingerauburn too, but it's a bit too orange for my taste (not obnoxiously so, but you notice it in the light).

I love this mascara so much! I bought ginger auburn and ginger brown. I love how natural the colors are and that you can apply it how you want it: one coat for a natural look and two or more for more dramatic lashes. I definitely wish they provided more volume and were water proof (then I would give 5 stars), but overall I love this mascara because I could never find one before that suited me.

I love love love this mascara!! I have very sensitive eyes and this never irritates them and I love the colors, not too dark like ALL the others out there. Thanks so much for making this!!!

I've used this for years. When I started going gray, I use it to cover my roots as well.
